Known history from new and regularly maintained with needs addressed since its long term ownership (and decline) in Australia with Gerry Kent.
Market commentary
This car has been fluffed up in the past few years but never comprehensively restored after sitting for years in Australia before being found in a tired state. Thats not a recipe for Miura SV satisfaction, which is reflected in the bidders reluctance to meet the estimate. Under the circumstances its sale at the reported high bid would not have been a surprise. It might even have been a really good idea for the consignor to take the money.
