Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Alloy wheels (9 wide at rear), Becker Mexico radio, A C. U.S. delivery car with popup headlights and painted nose panel. Excellent older repaint, lightly creased original interior, minor chip on drivers door, good dash top. Some work visible under paint above left headlight. Known history, 34,782 miles. A good, clean, consistently maintained Daytona Spyder in handsome colors

Market commentary

Offered four times at auction since 1993 and reported sold for $363,800 by RM at Monterey in 1998 with about 8,000 miles in the intervening seven years. Thats a 36% increase in seven years not exactly an investment grade rate of return but one that is strongly enhanced by the experience of 8K miles in one of the most desirable and enjoyable of all open GT Ferraris.
