Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, Kenwood cassette stereo, A C. Described as one of four C 4s reputedly converted by Scaglietti. No definitive evidence of being Scaglietti sliced was offered, however. Good cosmetics, interior shows some use and creasing. Clean and original underhood. Saturday Prime Time.

Market commentary

This car brought a 100% premium over a C 4 berlinetta, much more of a premium than is accorded cut Daytonas. In fact, this much money would buy a cut Daytona in comparable condition. The C 4 may be more user friendly, but its no Daytona. Did the buyer throw $50 Large down a rathole Only when its time to sell will that question be answered. In the meantime, enjoy the open air motoring. 1 12 05 cutter was Claudio Zampolli, one of four done, according to Telaio e mail.
