Equipment
Factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, AM/FM radio, documented with its original Protect-O-Plate.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
From the Lingenfelter collection. Excellent paint and very good brightwork. The engine compartment has light patina and road grime. The underbody is very clean. The interior is very good and complete. The odometer shows 86,173 believable miles. A better than average driver, represented as numbers matching.
Market commentary
By 1972, the Corvette was already way down on power, 200 in the case of this base coupe. They still have the chrome bumpers and egg crate side vents of earlier and faster C3s, though, so they are more desirable than later urethane bumper C3s. That said, this car is in slightly better than average condition and the high bid should have been plenty to see it on its way to a new home.
