Equipment

RHD. One of two cars built for the Carl Haas team which entered them for Jackie Stewart with L&M sponsorship. Very distinctive blunt nose and tightly wrapped body. This is the spare car and apparently Stewart never raced it. Sold to Tom Heyser for 72 season and John Gunn midway through 73. Badly corroded magnesium wheels. Museum repaint, otherwise aged and as raced. Will need complete overhaul and restoration before realizing its potential. But it is LOUD! Peter Kaus Rosso et Bianco Collection.

Market commentary

A wonderful, charismatic, idiosyncratic Can Am car with maybe not the best race winning history but a real story to tell and many miles of high speed motoring in its future. Carl Haass Lolas, driven by Jackie Stewart, added color and at least the possibility of serious competition to the Can Am. This price is very reasoble, even for the backup car.
