Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Cromodora alloy wheels, Michelin XWX tires, Talbot outside mirror, open headlights, Momo leather rim steering wheel, Ferrari Classiche Certified.

Condition

Orderly restored engine compartment with minor oil seepage and fuel stained carburetors. Very good new clearcoat repaint in the original color and barely stretched Daytona style seats. There are some poor quality replacement trim chrome parts.

Market commentary

It is refreshing to see a Dino in its original color instead of the "resale red" or "fly yellow" that so many have acquired over the years. That said, however, this is an optimistic price for the caliber of the presentation especially considering that the better condition "Chairs & Flares" 246 GTS offered earlier today was bid to $385,000.
