Equipment

RHD. Built as a 512S but unsold and converted to 512M before being sold in Dr. Alfredo Belponers Scuderia Brescia Corse and driven by Marsilio Pasotti (Pam). Raced in the Interserie and hillclimbed including taking the only hillclimb victory for a 512M at Malegno Borno in 1971. Historic raced since, most recently by Ed Davies and Mike Colucci in 1999 2000. Restored in the US in 2001 and unused since. Complete including its original engine, Ferrari Classiche certified and in better than new condition.

Market commentary

Not surprisingly, the 512S and M were raced nearly into extinction although 16 of the 22 believed built survive in at least some form. Finding one with such clear history and in such complete and original condition is very unusual. The price paid is exceptional in dollars, but much more reasonable to someone paying in Euros or pounds.
