Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, factory A C, P W, Blaupunkt cassette. Battery tender installed under hood. Dash top stained on top of instrument pod. Leased to J. Anthony Forstman in New York, then sold to Edsel Ford II, the current owner, in 1978. Good chrome, original interior and repaint. Small cracks by headlight doors but not significant.Sharp, orderly highly original car. Not fresh like new but darn close. Ferrari Classiche certified.

Market commentary

Edsel Ford was here to see his car off and that may have contributed to this eye opening result. Besides that, there is a poetic quality to a record transaction for a Ford owned Ferrari taking place in Maranello. Even in Euros this is a huge price.
