Equipment
Chrome Borranis (alloy spare wheel), period 8 track stereo, A C, painted nose panel. Good repaint and new interior. Doors and panels fit well. Hood struts need a recharge (or a handy broom handle.) Underhood is clean and largely original, old undercoat on chassis. Some thin trim chrome. Presentable and usable Daytona.
Market commentary
In this market anything over $100K for a decent Daytona is good money and this car could have been sold for the amount bid. Christies had a new commission structure for this sale, boosting the buyers premium by $3,500. That may have deterred the bidder from going the $5,000 or so further that might have bought the car and illustrates that even in a liquid marketplace value is still important.
