Equipment
Sony CD stereo, A C, P W, Plexiglas nose panel. Cut by Mike Sheehans European Auto after accident damage long ago. Now in at least its fourth trip across the auction block, a succession of owners have kept giving it more attention and it keeps getting a little better. Runs well, although there was a whiff of antifreeze when it ran, but no visible leak. Odometer shows about 2,000 more kilometers than it did in 2001.
Market commentary
First showed up at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in 97 ($110,000), Kruse Scottsdale in 98 ($115,500), then RM Amelia in 01 ($109,000), all without selling until it finally sold at B J Scottsdale in 2005 for $192,000. It is a better car now than it was in 05, but this is an appropriate price for it.
