Condition
#1 Concours
World-class. Could compete in the world’s best Concours d'Elegance events.
Excellent paint and panel fit. The engine and underbody have both been done to a high standard and look new. The original interior has been well cared for and presents little wear. Restored to a high quality and one of the best early second gen Camaros at the event.
Market commentary
Second generation Camaros rarely get this kind of treatment, but even though this car is exceptional, it's still an L48-powered '71 Camaro and therefore not particularly valuable. The Indy bidders afforded it a generous premium, comparable with the $37,400 that it sold for at Auctions America's Fall Auburn last September and the reported high bid should have been taken enthusiastically.
