Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Original colors, represented as matching numbers engine. Good paint with a handful of light scratches. New-looking window rubber and weather stripping. Nearly every piece of brightwork shows some amount of scratching, and the taillight bezels are badly pitted. The BMW badge on the rear is also faded. Original-looking but good dash, gauges, and switchgear. A tastefully modified, handsome, and ultimately driver-condition round taillight 2002.
Market commentary
This car had a string of online auction appearances last year. It failed to sell at a $26,500 high bid on Hagerty Marketplace and at a $15,000 bid on PCARMARKET, both in May, then did sell for $21,525 on Bring a Trailer in July. Its odometer shows more mile then it did on BaT, so if the person who bought it there was the same one who sold it here, this was a successful but not very active year of ownership.
