Market commentary
Converting a perfectly good 440/390 Six Barrel Superbird to a Hemi was a total waste of time, effort, money and a period Hemi that could have been productively employed to replace one blown to smithereens on some drag strip. On top of that the condition is tacky, about as tacky as the Hemi substitution. It was offered here in 1998 in essentially the same condition when it was a $31,000 no-sale. It should have been on its way to a new home today well below the reported high bid.
