Market commentary
Sold for $46,980 at Barrett-Jackson in 2004, $51,840 at B-J Palm Beach in 2005 and $61,600 at B-J WestWorld in 2012. For a more handling-oriented version of the Cuda like an AAR to be an automatic is a bit more disappointing than in some of the larger-engined cars, which may partly explain why this otherwise fantastic car didn't go for even more money. Then again, it sold for within its estimate range and wasn't exactly a steal, so both parties can be satisfied with the result. Some resources value 'Cuda AARs much higher than this, but this result is comparable with an automatic Z/28 or Boss 302 of the period.
