Equipment
426 425hp, 4 speed, pushbutton radio. Originally powered by a 383 330hp. Very well restored with excellent paint, interior and chrome. The engine is said to have cost $50,000, which is only the beginning of the irrationality.
Market commentary
Reported sold at Russo & Steeles Scottsdale auction this January for $124,200. The prices that Hemi Cuda clokes are bringing are simply amazing, as is the effort that is being expended on creating them. Theres no accounting for taste, but it would be better if the talent and hours were spent restoring something real for which buyers could get real value.
