Market commentary
This result makes more sense, a lot more sense, than the $100K+ that B J got for a 71 Torino Cobra at Scottsdale just a couple months ago, and this result is still unusually healthy for a Torino Cobra. These were forgotten cars just a few months ago. They sure arent any more, and they deserve to have the higher profile they are getting. Big power is worth big money. The buyer here may be ahead of the wave, but its catching up. One interesting observation is that no one agrees on the hp of this J code engine, quoting everything from 360 to 375hp. You pays your money and you takes your choice, a privilege todays buyer has earned with his (or her) checkbook.
