Equipment
429 375hp, 4 speed, 3.91 Traction Lok, pushbutton radio. 11,848 miles, known history and documentation including Marti report. Scuffed original interior, factory door fits (erratic), fair chrome, Magnum 500 wheels. Meticulously factory detailed but more attention paid to chalk marks than paint and interior. Good older repaint with some chips. A good but not outstanding Boss 429.
Market commentary
An outstanding price, however. These were unimpressive cars when new: nose heavy and their engines designed for the continuous high speeds of Daytona and Talladega, so high rev oriented they were unsatisfying street drivers. Nearly a buck thirty is heroic money. There was never a better time than now to leave a Boss 429 sitting on the block at anything over $70K.
