Equipment
Magnum 500 wheels, Polyglas GT tires, 3.91 Traction-Lok, power steering, power brakes, Philco AM radio, Hurst T-handle shifter.
Condition
Spotless, fresh detailed engine bay. Very good paint and chrome. Excellent interior. Nothing to pick on. Sold new in Minnesota and formerly part of a private Mustang collection. Fully restored in 2010 and looks to have been barely touched since.
Market commentary
Hammered not sold at a high bid of $200,000 at Mecum Harrisburg last year, which was less than the car deserved. This result is more like it, although it's a number that's still favorable to the buyer given that this car presents like new in eye-catching Grabber Green. It could have brought another 30 or 40 grand without being expensive.
