Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, Blaupunkt multiband radio, A C, matte black steering wheel spokes, owners manual, tool kit. Old undercoat on chassis. Good paint, chrome and interior (but in an unattractive color.) Engine is sharp and clean but with some fluid residue on transmission. A nice driver, aside from the dull beige leather, that is.

Market commentary

Consignment 4002. This may be the most auctioned Queen Mother in history. Kruse Auburn Fall 2003, no sale at $65,000; 2005, no sale at $80,000; Russo and Steele Arizona 2006, sold at $88,000; 2007, bought in at $165,000; 2008 sold for $143,000. Sold here at a handsome price in todays market for its condition having accumulated under 300 miles in the past two and a half years, maybe itll end up with someone who will actually take it out and use it.
