Equipment
383 330hp, 4 speed. Decent repaint, interior and chrome. Orange peel on lower body sides. Reasonable door fits, fair glass with some scratches from a careless, inexperienced or rushed stripping of the old paint. Fresh, shiny undercoat. An OK driver, but no more than that. Auction car.
Market commentary
Wednesday. This is Auction Car money for an Auction Car. Those little curlicue scratches than an oscillating sander leaves on windows when the gorilla running it slips up are a sure fire clue that the shop doing the body work didnt much care, was working to a price and the rest of the work was equally superficial and slipshod. The car card said As many as possible original pieces were used... which might also mean, We were too cheap to replace worn out stuff. At no reserve someone has to buy this car; at other auctions it would simply be shunned by bidders and sent home for the consignor to put right before trying again.
