Frame-off restored. Paint is nearly immaculate, brightwork is shiny and clean. Engine is highly detailed with a light repaint. Underbody is like new. Detailed interior shows no signs of wear or use. A very difficult car to pick apart.
Market commentary
Nearly flawless, except for the bid. One of the premiere postwar Oldsmobiles, and deserved another $10,000. Time will tell if bringing it home will pencil out for the seller, but his reaction is easily understandable.
