Represented as being in the same ownership since 1982, and must have sat for almost all of the past 43 years. It’s filthy top to bottom, with pitted chrome and faded paint. No obvious signs of rust visible but who knows. Filthy carpets. Frayed seatbelts. Dirt and cobwebs on the dashboard. No attempt to clean this car for sale so Bonhams is clearly playing in barn find mystique, but does barn find mystique work anymore?
Market commentary
Apparently, yes, at least in this case. The price here is right in between condition #4 and condition #3 money for that is not some mellowed original that needs some TLC but one that will need a long, expensive restoration.
