Equipment

AM FM, chrome luggage rack, chrome wire wheels. 39,791 miles. Old lacquer repaint still sparkles, good interior shows some wear. Excellent panel fits but some pitted chrome that needs attention. Much documentation and some spare parts. Original owners manual and toolkit. An older show quality restoration thats been used but also well cared for.

Market commentary

This is an impressive E type, but its an open headlight SII and the restoration has obviously aged to a point where this bid is quite sufficient. RM may have set a new E type record this weekend for Lot 239 ($115,500) but that was an absolutely fresh Series I roadster and a Classic Showcase car which ... the rest is better left unsaid.
