Market commentary
Offered by Bonhams at Monaco in 2002 with an estimate of $110 130,000, the significant aspect of this transaction is that this less than perfect cut Daytona brought at least as much as, and probably more than, a comparable Berlinetta. Cut Daytonas have been climbing steadily upward in value at a faster rate even than Berlinettas and now seem to have passed them. The enthusiasm for style affects Ferrari buyers just as it has been building values of American Muscle Car clones, replicas and continuations.
