Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Slide throttle fuel injection, chrome suspension. Ferrari team car but specific racing history is in doubt. Data sheet with the car claims Chris Amon 3rd in Holland and Pedro Rodriguez 6th at Monza, but ends with an accuracy disclaimer. Restored by Terry Hoyle for Pierre Bardinon in 1998 and in sound racing car condition with current safety equipment and decent cosmetics. FIA papers included.

Market commentary

History is everything in racing cars and the apparent inability to establish the racing history of this 312 GP car inhibits both its value and its marketability. It does nothing, however, to inhibit enjoying it on track where it will be a welcome participant in any of the most prestigious events. Is that worth more than $500K The owner apparently thinks it is ... or doesnt need the money.
