Equipment
Gold wheels, chromed suspension. Sharp paint. Chassis is clean and appears to be RTR but isnt fresh. Runs great and sounded like ripping cloth when it came onto the block. Third at Holland in 1969 driven by Chris Amon. Fifth at Watkins Glen and seventh at Mexico driven by Pedro Rodriguez. An important Ferrari that needs nothing.
Market commentary
Its possible to be very, very competitive in Historic GP racing for half this investment but it wont sound like this and the experience is irreplaceable. This is what it took tonight at Pebble Beach and its impossible to argue with the buyers opinion. A great car, for about the price of a Tour de France, just to put it in perspective.
