Equipment
L89 engine, 4.11 Positraction, F41 suspension, tinted glass, AM/FM radio, Rally wheels, Firestone narrow whitewalls.
Condition
Bloomington Gold and NCRS Top Flight. Represented as body-off restored. Comes with lots of documentation. Tidy engine bay but certainly used. Decent older chrome. Two blisters in the right headlight door. Some orange peel on the hood, and some waviness in the nose as well. Interior is very good with fresh, supple leather. Very clean underbody. A repaint would be welcome, but it's not bad and the L89 helps distract from shortcomings.
Market commentary
Hammered not sold at the exact same $150,000 high bid at Mecum's Bloomington Gold auction back in 2009, right after a sharp correction in the Corvette market. It's only done 142 miles since then. Values have caught up since then, but this was a fair offer for a older restored L89.
