Equipment
302/290hp, JL8 4-wheel disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, gauges, cowl induction hood, power steering and brakes, pushbutton radio, Protect-O-Plate, Rally wheels, Polyglas tires.
Condition
Represented as the original engine, transmission and rear axle. Very good paint. Chrome is excellent with trim that is very well polished. Interior is like-new with no wrinkles or stains. Underbody is fully restored. Very clean engine bay other than a carb leak that has left discoloration on the manifold. Not done yesterday, but still very good and has extra appeal with the JL8 disc brakes, which can add about 10 percent to the value.
Market commentary
Hammered not sold at Mecum Kissimmee in 2013 at a high bid of $100,000 and sold at Mecum Dallas also in 2013 for $96,300. Let go here for a little bit more, and since the Camaro market hasn't done a whole lot since 2013 (neither has the car which today shows just 21 more miles on the odometer than it did in 2013), it's still good value for money but a transaction that both parties can be satisfied with.
