Equipment
350/255hp, automatic, power steering, column shift.
Condition
Represented as the original engine and TH400 transmission. The paint is well done over original panels. Some minor bodywork appears to have been done on the passenger rear quarter. Factory-like misalignment of the doors. Bed is well painted inside and was removed for the repaint. Engine compartment, is almost flawless aside from a scratch on the passenger's side inner fender. Brightwork has been cleaned and polished and shows age but is original to the truck. Interior has new arm rest and upolustry dash and gauges are original and very clear. Some small age showing on vent window rubber. A well done, thorough enthusiast restoration to good pickup truck standards.
Market commentary
In the waning hours of Barrett-Jackson 2016 this Chevy pickup stands out for its honesty and responsible restoration. That brought it a superior price, as there are serious bidders (armed with wads of bank guaranty letter credit) still waiting for their trophy to take home as things wind down.
