Equipment
Triple Solex side-draft carbs, wood dash, woodrim steering wheel, 5-bolt alloy wheels, Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, sport seats, wood shift knob, Blaupunkt pushbutton radio (original radio included), dual wing mirrors, complete tool roll, spare parts.
Condition
One of just 84 LHD cars and 351 total. This one was sold new in Belgium and remained in Europe until 2012. Restored in 1999 in Germany with recent mechanical freshening. Very good paint and chrome. Excellent interior. Highly detailed top to bottom, this looks like a much newer restoration than 1999.
Market commentary
Little used and stunningly maintained, this is a high quality 2000GT. Values have consolidated in recent months from the seven-figure amounts they brought after RM's benchmark sale for $1,150,000 at the Don Davis auction in 2013 of s/n MF1010147, but even at that any 2000GT for under a million dollars today is a good value even if it does mean it's $5,867/horsepower.
