Equipment
302/250hp, 4-speed, Shelby signature on the dash, dash clock, Philco pushbutton AM radio, air conditioning, power top, Shelby wheels, power front disc brakes, Radial T/A tires, 3.98 rear end.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
The Acapulco Blue has repaired chips in the driver's side quarter panel, trailing edge of the rear spoiler and passenger's door. Stainless trim and front bumper have scratches. The upholstery has some light wrinkles. Window seals are dried out and cracked. Engine bay is clean, but the air cleaner has worn finish on the front edge. Underbody is aged but was previously restored. An older award-winning restoration done in the early 1990s and now lightly aged but still a very good driver.
Market commentary
A quality restoration but the two plus decades since it was completed are showing through and the high bid it brought here was sufficient to satisfy a reasonable seller.
