Represented as 68 Shelby team backup car, never raced in period. Now prepared and used in historic Trans Am competition with 302 440hp, 370 lb ft engine, full floating 9 Ford rear axle, Detroit Locker, Kar Kraft Watts linkage and front uprights. Includes correct 302 Trans Am tunnel port engine and 2 original KK qtr panels. A serious vintage racer, appears (and sounds) track ready.

Market commentary

Offered here in the Spring of 2001 where it was reported bid to $96,000 without apparent interest. Back for another bite of the apple it again got insufficient interest to find a new home. The Shelby Registry records this as Car 5 of 7 built, an incomplete car sold as a body shell and eventually completed by the present owner for vintage racing in 1993.
