5th at Monza, 3rd at Nurburgring for the factory then extensively raced in Europe by privateers and to Matsuda in about 74. Displayed and occasionally demonstrated since. Quick casual repaint otherwise mostly original and needing attention.
Market commentary
A great car, but buyers also see a big bill to get it to historic racing condition after years languishing in the Matsuda mausoleum. This isnt a 917 and probably belongs in the $400 500K range, race ready and sparkling, which makes this bid an intelligent, if parsimonious, offer.
