Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Alloy wheels. 2nd in class at Sebring 1967 driven by Denise McLuggage and Pinkie Rollo, later repainted Burgundy and used in The Thomas Crown Affair, Road & Track test and cover car. The first, and one of two alloy bodied, NART Spyders, the only one raced in period. An older restoration to like new condition now showing some age, driven onto the auction block by Denise McLuggage with Luigi Chinetti, Jr. in the passengers seat. Excellent cosmetics but paint cracked by trunk corners, right vent window frame scratched, chip under right headlight. Clean and like new underhood.

Market commentary

The top sale at Monterey this year and a headline car wherever it appears.
