Equipment
One of one, undefeated in nine hillclimbs as a SEFAC team car in 1969 driven by Peter Schetty. Engine the precursor to the flat 12 312 F1 and endurance racer. Chassis also used as the basis for 1968s Pininfarina 250 P5 concept car and later wore a Piero Lardi Ferrari designed competition body. Now restored to 1969 configuration with its original body, shows age but largely in as raced and race ready condition, last competed at Olon Villars in 2003 driven by David Franklin. No Reserve.
Market commentary
A big bet on the reception for an almost unknown but also exceptionally important and successful Ferrari, RM got serious money for this short wheelbase head snapper and the buyer got a singular Ferrari for very reasonable money. There arent many cars, let alone Ferraris, that have so many lives and important contributions to their marque. A good value.
