Market commentary
The buyer: a) must not have looked closely at the car; and b) not have noticed that its a right hooker; and c) missed the fact that its not a DB5. Its a decent driver, on which any informed bidding would have stopped upon reaching $80,000 even under the influence of the B J Excitement. (It was reported bought at B J Scottsdale last year for $81,000 hammer, $87,480 with commission, itself a strong price.)
