Equipment
Well used Euro prepared historic race car. Stone chipped, outie starred hood. Eventually owned by Pater Livanos (then owner of Aston Martin) who in 1993 sold it to Sir Stirling Moss for historic competition with FIA papers still in Mosss name. Used by Moss until 1999 with two subsequent owners. A rough and ready historic racer driven onto the block by Moss with Carroll Shelby in attendance.
Market commentary
Stirling said he sold it for 40,000 pounds and was dumbfounded by the price here which is, despite his amazement, not out of line for a racing GT350 with history. He remarked, Im bringing all my cars here.
