Equipment
3781cc/220hp, 4-speed with overdrive, wire wheels, Vredestein tires, wing mirrors, books, jack.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Represented as matching numbers and as a two-owner car. Largely original but mechanically restored. The paint is original and shows a decent number of chips, scratches and touch ups, but the finish is solid. Same with the chrome. It’s original but presentable. Sound upholstery and the wood looks remarkable. Clean wheels, and new-looking tires. It was a good idea to leave this Jag alone on top. Its preservation is impressive, and the right kind of owner will cherish that more than a shiny resto.
Market commentary
And it seems the right kind of buyer picked it up, paying a noticeable but not excessive premium for the car's combination of cosmetic originality and mechanical refurbishment.
