Equipment

Chrome wire wheels. Beautifully restored to beyond perfection. Polished everywhere underhood. 99.9 JCNA. The odometer was reset and now shows 50 miles, but the trip odo shows 5,471. One might wonder what else was overlooked in the restoration

Market commentary

The highest Series I E type price seen recently was at Barrett Jackson a year ago when a similarly obsessively restored car brought $84,000. A $31,000 bump seems high, indeed, to say nothing of being 16.7% over RMs high estimate. This car comes from Classic Showcase. Their cars consistently achieved remarkable results this weekend, almost alone among the offerings in Monterey. Is it great cars or great marketing
