Equipment
RHD. Yellow alloy wheels.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Raced when new by Scuderia Filipinetti at Sebring in 1967, then raced and caught fire at the Nurburgring. Restored by Corrado Cupellini in 1983 with a Ferrari F2 engine, then restored again by Terry Hoyle for Bernie Carl with the dual ignition 206S engine now in it. Good paint, older interior. Shows some age but limited use.
Market commentary
Offered by RM in Arizona in 2007 with a high bid of $1 million and in essentially the same condition as it is today. It has a clear, if somewhat smoky, history and brought a realistic price for its presentation, history and potential performance.
