Equipment
Chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, Michelin XWX blackwalls, leather upholstery, cloth top, tool roll, service and owner's manuals.
Condition
Clean, well-presented engine compartment. Good paint, chrome and interior. Underbody has old, peeled undercoat that has been painted over, a disquieting oversight in an otherwise thoroughly and attractively restored Ferrari with only 11,161 miles from new.
Market commentary
This GTS was red when it was sold by RM at Amelia Island in 2002 for $170,500. It has been transformed, particularly by the repaint in the original Grigio Fumo color, but also by the passage of time which has launched it and other V-12 Ferraris into the stratosphere of values. It's a question only time will tell, but it's hard to think it might see another 8.7 times increase in value in the next dozen years.
