Equipment
RHD. Outside laced Borranis. 3 carbs, engine internal number 1132 64. Ecurie Francorchamps 1966 Le Mans entry driven by Noblet and Dubois, 10th overall (class 2nd,) later class winner at Mt. Ventoux with Lucien Bianchi. Crashed at Nurburgring, then damaged in a transporter accident. Known history since. Older restoration freshened with reconstructed body, new paint (but the wrong color) and Luppi interior to better than new condition with current safety equipment.
Market commentary
Reportedly bid to 1.2 million SFr ($713,394 then, $925,783 today) at Brooks Gstaad in 2000 before the recent mechanical and cosmetic work. A sound value at this price, particularly with its Le Mans history, even in dollars; in Euros this is a very good buy.
