Equipment
White sidepipes, GT40 Halibrand wheels, Goodyear race tires, quick lift jacking points, black roll hoop, drivers side acrylic windscreen, Le Mans quick fill fuel cap, hood scoop, oil cooler scoop, huge and original flares front and rear. Sold to Ford Advanced Vehicles England and used as a camera car for Grand Prix. Delivered to US and sold to Robert Cooper. Dick Terrell won the 1968 SoCal SCCA Regional Championship with it. Restored several times and now in concours condition. Every surface is better than new and the Cobra is ready for track or show field. Big and bad in the best possible way.
Market commentary
This comp Cobra rolled across RMs holding area with all the subtlety of a natural disaster. In a thunderous clap of noise the Cobra silenced the crowd gathered outside the hotel. Its noise is impressive and its desirability is off the charts, but what to do with it is another matter. Unlike small block Cobras this car will bite all but the most talented drivers and it will be out of place anywhere but the track or show field. Unless you have Dick Terrells deft hands and feet, that is. Even at that, this is what its worth, particularly in this spectacular condition.
