Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Weber carbs, 5 spoke alloy wheels, white painted side exhausts. Very sharp replica body by Mike McCluskey. Excellent paint and bodywork. Shows a little age on chassis. According to the SAAC Registry it was built up from engine, transmission, paperwork, footbox id tag and some odds and ends. Effectively a chain of title car and not an original Cobra chassis under the replica bodywork.

Market commentary

Sold by RM at Monterey in 204 for $255,000, which asks a lot from the passage of less than three years. If there was money anywhere close to the reported bid the consignors avarice was showing in not accepting it.
