Equipment
Steel wheels with hub caps, Dunlop tires, luggage rack, woodrim steering wheel, Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, VDO dash clock.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Restored in 2013. Passenger's side door is not quite flush. Paint drip on the right edge of the engine cover. Masking errors on the front bumper. Orange peel on the nose. Very good interior with cracking steering wheel cap. A good enthusiast restoration.
Market commentary
One of the last, most refined and developed examples of the 356, this car is inherently collectible, but its enthusiast restoration isn't up to snuff in today's high-dollar Porsche market. It's a good driver worth good driver money, meaning the reported high bid was sufficient.
