Condition

A nicely done older restoration that is still excellent. Paint is bright and shows no flaws. Brightwork has a nice luster and isn't showing any aging. Engine is highly detailed and well presented. Soft top has been replaced though the rubber is now aged and cracked. Interior is clean and holding up very well.

Market commentary

Hard to say why the bidders weren't inspired to offer more, but this car warranted another $5,000-$10,000. White over red doesn't speak to everyone, nor does the auto-magic, but this is still a drop-top GTO.
