Equipment

RHD. 366 cubic inch Chevy, 48 IDA Webers, Crane cam, Hewland LG600 5 speed. First owned by George Wintersteen, then to John Cordts 1966 67. Restored in the early 80s, then sold to Peter Kaus in late 1985 where it has sat since. Dusty and neglected, badly corroded magnesium wheels. Needs attention throughout, but when it is done it will be a go anywhere Can Am, USRRC car. Peter Kaus Rosso et Bianco Collection.

Market commentary

A terrific sports racer from the most important and enjoyable period in Ameican road racing. The work that it needs to be race ready isnt cheap, but is still less than a simple engine rebuild on a Fifties Ferrari sports racer. It is a sound buy at this price.
