Catalog Copy: This S Type 3.4 saloon first left the Jaguar Browns Lane works in 1965, the righthand drive four door saloon claimed still to be original and unrestored. The 2040 RA private plate was in place 1981 to 2002 when the car was registered with the current period correct F 42C registration. It is claimed that the mileage has only increased by 6000 miles since 1981, the 53,511 miles displayed when entered for the sale believed by the vendor to be the genuine total for the car from new.
