Equipment
327/300hp, Powerglide automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, spinner wheel covers, American Classic narrow whitewalls.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
There are many chips in the paint with touch ups all around vehicle. There is a long crack and gouge in the paint on the rear driver's side. Brightwork is dull with scratches on window trim. Soft top has been replaced and is in good condition but is quite dirty. The seats are dirty with moderate wear. Engine is dirty and not detailed. There is some moisture on the valve covers near the exhaust headers. Undercarriage shows mild wear. An older restoration that has been cleaned up for this sale. A decent driver for someone who can live with cosmetic flaws and less desirable equipment.
Market commentary
Sold at RM's Classic Car Auction of Michigan in 2010 for $33,550. With mediocre condition and basic equipment, this car failed to entice any of the Auburn bidders, and even though values have gone up since 2010, no one was willing to offer up any more than it brought six years ago.
