Equipment

396 425hp, 4 speed, AM FM, alloy wheels, side exhausts, F41 suspension, teak steering wheel, P anten. Well restored but with some shortcomings like the bowed hood. Good interior and chrome. Poorly filled cracks at headlight corners. Shows the restorations age, but still quite nice.

Market commentary

A one year only engine, the first Big Block in the Corvette chassis. It is much more rare than the more pricey 427 435s and still has performance that no collector is going to use. This price is as good as the seller could expect considering the age of the restoration and the overlooked ture of the 396 425 engine.
